Randall brings incredible value to this election, having already served two terms on the Salina City Commission and four years advocating for Salina and its residents in the Kansas State Senate. With a proven track record of advancing the city’s interests at the city and state level, he has more than enough experience to return to the City Commission and continue delivering solutions that balance economic development with fiscal responsibility for the benefit of all of Salina.
Economic Development
Strong economies rely on thriving businesses and job growth. That's why Randall has championed initiatives that strengthen local businesses and create jobs. He has been an enthusiastic supporter of the Salina River Renewal Project, a major economic driver, and helped create an ordinance allowing sidewalk dining with alcohol downtown to complement Salina's downtown revitalization.
Fiscal Responsibility
From Randall himself: "I will apply thoughtful and informed consideration to decisions regarding City expenditures and the application of tax payer dollars." Throughout his terms as Commissioner, he has demonstrated this by calling for money-saving changes to build the Salina Fieldhouse and preserving important local services, such as helping to replace an empty Dillon's building on Iron Avenue with another grocery store.
